The Wings Initiative Program

Meet Eddie.

Eddie Staub is the founder of Eagle Ranch, a community uniquely designed to help make life better for children and families going through a crisis.

When Eddie started Eagle Ranch in 1985, he had no road map. He just knew that there were children out there who were facing challenges… and he could help. His commitment to that mission over the last 35 years has turned Eagle Ranch into one of the most progressive therapeutic programs for children in crisis and one of the largest children’s residential programs in the Southeast.

This year, Eddie is passing the daily leadership of Eagle Ranch on to a new generation and helping the Ranch transition to a new executive director. But he’s not retiring. And he’s not finished helping children in crisis.

Eddie will be leading an expansion of Eagle Ranch’s mission at a new facility called The Wings Center, opening this fall. In addition to offering outpatient counseling and retreats to communities in North Georgia and Metro Atlanta, The Wings Center will be home to The Wings Initiative.

The Wings Initiative takes all that Eagle Ranch has learned in the last 35+ years and works to pass it on to organizations around the world serving children in their communities. Nearly 1,000 organizations in the United States and abroad have benefited from this program so far. And they want to do even more.

Through your donation to the Be Rich campaign last year, we were able to fund resources and materials to help expand the Wings Initiative and launch its new center at the ranch. There is no telling how many children will be impacted by the organizations and homes served by the mission.

This is just one more way the impact of your generosity is spreading far beyond Gwinnett County as you are more FOR than ever before.
